House of Thornes
The House of Thornes is a burlesque house that was founded by Thorne in 2024. It includes two of Thorne's burlesque 1 students from The Newport Theater, Velvet Reyn and Mx. Italix.
The house also includes Thorne's Spouse (since 2020) Whimsy Stiff-Richards.

We are excited to celebrate pride month during Chicago's Pride Fest at the Newport Theater, Chicago's home for fringe theater and burlesque!
The House of Thornes are excited to invite our transgender and gender-non-conforming peers to an open stage show just a block from Chicago's Pride Fest!
We are taking applications through June 5th at openhouse.houseofthornes.com
Tickets will be Pay what you can as low as $5 with a suggested donation of $15. Ticket sales will go towards venue rental as well as tech staff, then be split evenly between all artists and stage crew!
Performers we are looking for identify as transgender or gender non-conforming, and work in the arts of drag, burlesque, or any other performance art variety
